Common Business Telecoms Questions

What business telecoms options are available at my premises? +
It depends on your location. Where FTTP full fibre is available we will get you on that. Where it is not we can provide reliable 4G or 5G broadband, or a leased line for businesses that need guaranteed speeds and uptime. Get in touch and we will check what is available at your address.
What is a leased line and does my business need one? +
A leased line is a dedicated connection just for your business, not shared with anyone else. You get guaranteed speeds, symmetrical upload and download, and a service level agreement. It is best suited to businesses that rely heavily on their connection and cannot afford slowtime or downtime.
Will the PSTN switch off affect my business? +
If your business has a traditional landline, ISDN lines, ADSL broadband, or any device that uses a phone line such as alarms or card machines, then yes. The copper phone network switches off permanently on 31 January 2027. We can audit your business telecoms setup and handle the migration for you. For official government guidance visit the GOV.UK PSTN information page.
Can I keep my existing business phone number? +
Yes. Your existing number can be ported across to your new VoIP service. Your customers will not notice any difference and you keep the number your business is known for.
Do you tie businesses into long contracts? +
No. We offer flexible contract terms because we believe you should stay with us because the service is good, not because you are trapped. We will always be upfront about any minimum terms before you sign anything.
