We were told there was nothing better than 6 Mbps at our farm and to accept it. Cader sorted a 4G fixed wireless setup the same week, properly mounted on the barn. Working from home is suddenly a non-issue.

Send your postcode
Use the coverage check, the contact form, or give us a call. Tell us what it’s for: home, farm, shop, office, multi-site or event.
We check what’s available
We check live availability across the UK's main fibre networks, the mobile carriers and Starlink at your exact address, then send the options that will actually work.
You choose, we install
Once you sign off the quote, we book the install. Engineer on site, kit fitted, WiFi tuned, VoIP ported, failover tested. Then we hand over.
Local support afterwards
Our support team is based in Wales. You speak to engineers who know your account, by phone or email during working hours.
Based in the Dyfi Valley.
Built for rural Wales.
Cader Networks started in the Dyfi Valley to give rural Welsh homes and businesses the same standard of connectivity that towns and cities take for granted. The name comes from Cader Idris, the mountain above the office.
We work across the UK’s major wholesale networks, so we can recommend the right technology for your address rather than the only one we sell. Support is based in Wales. The same engineers handle your account from first survey through to live service.
- The engineer who set up your system answers the phone. Welsh-based support, by first name, by phone or email during working hours. Most issues fixed in under 30 minutes.
- Multiple networks. the UK's major fibre networks, the four mobile carriers (EE, O2, Vodafone, Three) and Starlink. We recommend whichever fits the address.
- Clear pricing. Quote up front. Line rental and equipment included. No automatic price changes mid-contract.
- Cymru grant supported. We handle the Access Broadband Cymru application alongside your install where you’re eligible.

What customers say
Real feedback from customers across mid and west Wales. Names are real, surnames shortened. Verified Google and Trustpilot reviews going live alongside this site.
The 01970 number we’ve had for twenty years moved across without a hitch. New phone system is miles better, the team answer the phone in Wales, and we’re sorted before the 2027 switch-off. Genuinely glad we did it early.
Starlink install was done properly — proper mast, proper cable run, tidy job, and they came back to tune the WiFi a fortnight later when we said the back of the cottage was patchy. Not what we expected from a telecoms company.

Do you cover my postcode?
We cover Ceredigion, Powys, Gwynedd and the borders as standard, plus the rest of Wales by arrangement. The reliable answer is to send your postcode through our contact form and we’ll tell you exactly what’s available at your address, including fibre, 4G and Starlink options.
What happens to my phone line in 2027?
the UK is retiring the entire copper PSTN network by January 2027. Every traditional landline will stop carrying calls unless it’s been switched to a digital (VoIP) replacement. We can move your number across before the deadline. See our PSTN switch-off guide.
Can you help with the Access Broadband Cymru grant?
Yes. If your property is eligible for the Welsh Government’s Access Broadband Cymru scheme we’ll handle the application alongside your install. See our Cymru grant page for eligibility.
Are you the cheapest?
No. We’re very competitive, but not the cheapest. There’s usually a couple of pounds a month between us and the lowest figure on the market, and that gap pays for the things that matter when something goes wrong: kit that isn’t cut-price, support that picks up the phone, and an engineer who knows your account because they set it up. Most issues are resolved in under 30 minutes. That’s what people pay us for. Line rental, equipment and setup costs are included in your quote so the figure you sign is the figure you pay.
Do you install Starlink, or just resell it?
We install. The package includes a site survey, professional mast or pole mount, weatherproof cable run and integration with your existing network. We can also return to tune the WiFi once you’ve had the system in everyday use. See our Starlink installation page.
What if our broadband goes down? (Business)
For business sites we can design in optional 4G failover from day one. A SIM in the router takes over automatically if the main line drops, and call diverts on the VoIP side make sure you don’t miss calls during an outage.
