What is the Access Broadband Cymru Grant?

The Access Broadband Cymru (ABC) Grant is a Welsh Government scheme designed to help homes and businesses in Wales get connected to faster broadband. If your current broadband speed is below 30Mbps you could be eligible for a grant of up to £800 to cover the cost of the hardware needed to get you connected.

It is one of the most valuable and least publicised schemes available to rural Welsh properties and we have helped customers take full advantage of it.

Are You Eligible?

To qualify for the Access Broadband Cymru Grant your premises must meet all of the following criteria. Applications must be made by the premises owner and cannot be submitted on your behalf by any provider.

Located in Wales Your property must be within the geographical boundary of Wales to qualify.

Current speeds below 30Mbps Your existing broadband must be under 30Mbps from any provider at your address.

Residential or business property Both homes and businesses are eligible. Applications must be made by the premises owner.

Not already receiving public funding Your area must not be planned for a publicly funded upgrade and you must not have received ABC funding in the past 48 months.

Has a valid UPRN Your property must have a Unique Property Reference Number. You can check yours at findmyaddress.co.uk
