Specialist SIMs for lift lines, gates, intercoms & backup connectivity
Purpose-built Anywhere SIMs for fitted, single-purpose equipment — lift emergency phones, gate entry systems and door intercoms currently wired over analogue lines, plus a backup eSIM for when your main connection drops. One quote, one account.
Four jobs a standard SIM isn't built for
A standard business SIM is right for phones, laptops and routers people carry around. These four products exist for the opposite case: fitted equipment that stays in one place, needs to work every time, and is currently relying on an analogue phone line that Openreach is switching off by January 2027.
Lift emergency autodiallers, gate entry panels and door intercoms were mostly installed with a PSTN line in mind. When that line goes, the equipment doesn't automatically fail over to mobile — it just stops working, unless something is fitted in advance. That's what the Lift, Gate and Intercom SIMs below are for. The Anywhere eSIM is a different problem: a backup line behind your primary broadband so a power cut or line fault at the exchange doesn't take your card machine or alarm panel down with it.
We check signal at the exact install location before recommending anything — a village can have good coverage while the specific gate post or lift shaft doesn't.

Anywhere Lift SIM
Fits the existing autodialler or GSM module in a lift emergency phone, replacing the analogue line it currently dials out on. Tested to the same monitoring-centre standard, so the emergency call still connects the same way.
Anywhere Gate SIM
Inbound-only dial-to-open connectivity for electric gate entry systems. Visitors call a fixed number to trigger the gate — no data bundle needed, just a reliable inbound line at the gate post.
Anywhere Intercom SIM
Two-way voice for rural door and security intercoms, with a fixed UK mobile number so residents or staff can be called from the panel and call back. Suits sites with no fixed line at all.
Anywhere eSIM
A backup line, not a primary connection — sits behind your main router or broadband and switches in automatically if the primary line drops, so card payments, alarms or a home office stay online during an outage.
Prices shown are per SIM, ex-VAT. Exact term and any install support are confirmed at quote once we've checked your site.
What building managers and installers ask
Why do lift lines need a SIM before 2027?
Most lift emergency phones still run over an analogue PSTN line dialling a monitoring centre. Openreach is switching off the PSTN network by January 2027, so any lift still wired that way needs a replacement before then. A Lift SIM drops into the existing autodialler or GSM module and keeps the emergency line working, tested to the same monitoring standard.
Will a Gate or Intercom SIM work where mobile signal is patchy?
We check coverage at the specific site before recommending a SIM. Rural gates and intercoms in the Dyfi Valley and similar areas can sit in a weak-signal spot even where the surrounding village has good coverage, so we always confirm signal at the exact install location first, and can suggest an external aerial where needed.
What is the Anywhere eSIM for?
It is a backup line, not a primary connection: an eSIM that sits behind your main broadband or router and switches in automatically if the primary line drops, so card payments, alarms or a home office stay online during an outage.
Do these come with a contract?
Lift, Gate and Intercom SIMs are typically 12-24 month terms, reflecting the fitted, semi-permanent nature of the install. The Anywhere eSIM is available on more flexible terms. We confirm the exact term and price for your setup before you order.
Can I order these alongside other Cader Networks services?
Yes. Many customers run these specialist SIMs alongside business broadband, VoIP or standard business SIMs, all on one account and one invoice.
