How is this different from a normal business broadband line?
A standard broadband line is tied to a fixed address and typically takes weeks to install, which does not suit a site that will not exist in twelve months. We use bonded multi-network 4G instead, which goes live as soon as the kit is on site.
Can you cover CCTV and site security systems?
Yes. Site security cameras and access control are one of the more common things we connect alongside the site office itself. We size the connection to cover both from the start rather than treating cameras as an afterthought.
What if the site has no useful mobile signal?
We check signal from all four UK carriers before quoting. Where none of them are strong enough, we can bring in satellite connectivity instead, which does not depend on mobile masts at all.
Can you move the kit between sites as a job progresses?
Yes. The kit is designed to be portable. Groundworks contractors and site managers running several sites over a year commonly have us move or duplicate the setup as work moves on.
